Measured images

By its very nature, the laser scanner always produces 3D surveys

However, it can be advantageous to create any number of 2D extractions from the 3D point cloud. This is similar to computed tomography: freely definable slices in a vertical or horizontal position are cut out of the overall model and then provide a very good overview of the geometries present at that point of the surveyed property. The result is 2D measured images or orthophotos in jpg or png format which, placed in CAD, lead to precise 2D CAD data.

These measured images are always

  • true to shape
  • to scale
  • free of distortion

The images show results of

  • façade and wall elevations
  • top views of roofs and sites
  • floor plans
  • reflected ceiling plans
  • vertical sections
