3D Laser Scans of the Whole of Niedersachsen

The State Office for Geoinformation and Land Surveying has had laser scans of Niedersachsen produced by aircraft. What is special about this is that anyone can download these datasets for their own purposes. With approx. 4 measuring points per square metre, the grid is very sparse, but it is sufficient for typical applications such as flood protection, mobile phone mast or solar potential analyses. The data is suitable for digital terrain models (DTM) and elevation plans. It can be matched precisely with cadastral maps. Contact: LGLN or by clicking on the image
