3D laser scanning for plant engineering

Existing drawings of factory halls are usually outdated and no longer match reality – this can have costly consequences if sections need to be modernised and you rely on this data. The far more efficient method is a 3D survey of the current as-is condition of the area concerned.

All Autodesk 3D CAD solutions support the direct import of 3D scans in ReCap format. We supply this data to you after the on-site scan. This allows you to use the as-built data yourself and insert it into your design, or to carry out clash detection with Autodesk Navisworks.
